CRANBERRY FOOL BITES
2.5" x2.5"
puff pastry squares, well chilled
Grated smoked cheddar
Grated smoked Gouda
CRANBERRY FOOL
Egg(s) + water to make an egg wash
Preheat oven to
350 degrees F.
Assemble bites on the baking sheet you will be cooking them on.
Place one tablespoon each of cheddar, Gouda and Cranberry Fool in the
center of the puff pastry square.
Fold two opposite corners to the center and seal with a dollop of egg
wash.
When all of your pastries are assembled, brush tops with the remainder
of the egg wash.
Place on center
oven rack and bake for 30 minutes or until fully cooked a dark golden
color.
Refrigerate any leftovers tightly wrapped for up to a week. If you reheat
the bites in a microwave, place them on top of an absorbent paper towel.
NOTE: other than
the size of the puff pastry squares, nothing is "sized" or
"measured" in this recipe. Make as many or as few as you desire
each time.
