CRANBERRY FOOL QUICHE

1 8-inch pie shell, unbaked
1/2 cup shredded smoked Gouda
1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
3 breakfast link pork or turkey sausages, cooked and crumbled
3 heaping tablespoons Cranberry Fool
1 1/2 cups scalded milk, cooled to room temperature
2 large eggs, stirred
1/8 teaspoon fresh nutmeg

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Mix together gently in a medium bowl cheeses, sausage, Cranberry Fool, milk, eggs and nutmeg until blended.
Pour into pie shell.
Place pie shell pan on a cookie sheet and put on center rack of oven.
Bake for 40 minutes or until quiche is firm with a slightly wobbly center.

Cool until just warm to the touch and cut into wedges. Any leftovers reheat extremely well in a microwave or conventional oven.

Even if you haven't had quiche since the 1970s, try this one. It is truly delectable.
